Activities Around the Bee Hive
At Bee Hive Homes, you will never be lost in a crowd. It's impossible not to have great friends. Some of the most precious life-long friendships have happened at Bee Hive. We offer the camaraderie of planned group activities and social gatherings, as well as honor the desire for quiet, personal time.
Our activity director keeps our Hive buzzing with fun, providing a wide array of weekly activities designed to meet the needs and interests of our residents. Sit in on concerts provided by local musicians and choir groups. Enjoy a short story reading. Relax to a movie or enjoy a game of cards. To nurture the soul we offer bible study classes, and for those energetic types there's even exercise classes designed for seniors.
A wheelchair accessible van allows us to offer field-trips to local events and scenic vistas. These outings help keep residents involved with the community and provide a revitalizing break from day-to-day routines.

Guests, especially great grandchildren, are always welcome.
In addition to planned activities, the hub of each Hive is the Great Area, ideal for enjoying the companionship of fellow residents and our staff. Relax watching a TV show, reading by the fire, or playing a board game or cards at the table. Plus, since this is truly a home, the kitchen never closes. In addition to three delicious meals a day prepared to dietary needs, there's always access to nutritious snacks. Family members are welcomed for meals and have the freedom to come and go as they please to enjoy the companionship of our residents.
The residents of Bee Hive Homes run the show. There is very little that we won't do to make their life the best possible. Their opinion is of utmost importance, from their feelings about the care givers to decisions about activities – we have regular get-to-gethers to meet their on-going needs and desires.
